They supply up to 100W output power over an industrial operating temperature range from –25°C to +50°C with natural convection cooling.Thus a dedicated fan in the system can be eliminated. This performance could be realized by a state-of-the-art circuit design achieving a very high efficiency of over 90%. Compared to a traditional open frame power supply the power loss of the TOP-100 could be reduced by appox. 50% which has a very positive impact on the reliability and lifetime of the product. At the time being there are 7 standard models available with output voltages from 3.3 VDC to 48VDC. With safety approval for class l and class ll operation, these power supplies offer an interesting solution for many space and cost critical applications in the industrial, ITE, medical and consumer electronics field.
